The touchpanel PC can be easily mounted on all types of medical computer carts, armatures, or wall mounts, and features plenty of tools and connections to do all types of supporting functions. The EM-2100 is designed for the medical industry, where users are always wearing gloves or constantly washing their hands. Our auto-sensing touch technology can help prevent the frustration that can happen when hands aren’t dry enough for a conventional touch screen or the annoyance of taking off gloves, only to put them back on after use.
Avoiding the spread of contaminants is important in any medical setting. The EM-2100 can be easily cleaned and sanitized with it’s anti-microbial chassis and IP65 rated front panel allowing you to feel confident that even when using it with your gloves on, sanitation is not an issue.
The EM-2100 has been specially designed to work with a wide variety of medical equipment and tools. The unit comes standard with a wide array of inputs, like USB and RJ-45 Ethernet ports. Additional, medically isolated ports in USB, RJ-45, RS-232, and even isolated DC Outs are available to support sensitive medical equipment and scanning devices. This allows the EM-2100 Medical Panel PC to be utilized for almost any purpose.
With the latest hardware, you need the latest OS and we have it on the EM-2100. The EM-2100 is available with Windows 11, Windows 10 or it can be customized with a distribution of the Linux Operating System.
Hospital computer systems have to be used by a lot of different people – they also have to be extremely secure. Requiring that individuals continuously log in and out of systems is both a time sink and an opportunity for passwords to be lost or stolen. The EM-2100 Medical Panel PC supports an integrated Smart Card reader as an option for easy and secure personnel logins. Just insert a CAC (EMV) enabled card into the security slot to log into the system and enable specific functions.
We designed this Medical Panel PC to go anywhere, and serve any function, and that means thinking of the special extras. The panel features twin bright, built-in reading lights to illuminate tools and charts on a medical cart, or just a magazine in a patient bed. We’ve also included an available medically isolated DC out, to help support any tool that may need to be used.
